Safety & Security

At New Beginnings, we have identified the key areas of security that are necessary to ensure a safe environment at all of our three locations. We have systems in place to give you peace of mind knowing you don’t have to worry about your child while they are in our care. Security cameras are placed throughout each school including the infant rooms, two year old rooms, three year old rooms, gym, hallways, outside and playgrounds. Our surveillance system continuously records all activity of all areas of each property, and a real-time video feed is displayed on a large monitor for our directors to monitor the entire center closely and continually throughout the day. Due to our centers being in school district building we have district security and camera's on the premise that get reviewed throughout the day.  

Our hiring process rigorously filters for the most responsible and professional teachers. New York State Office of Children Family Services reviews fingerprints and performs a criminal background check on all of our staff. We also review the references of all applicants. 

All of our staff are certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED. We want to make sure that, in the event of an emergency, our staff have the knowledge and skills to respond to an emergency situation appropriately.
